Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced lead gen candidate that is extremely driven by success, with the ability, acumen and finesse to effectively represent Touchstone IQ’s software products and complementary services. The primary focus will be on the Touchstone IQ for Buildings SaaS product, which is targeted at building owners, property managers, corporate real estate, and private entities. This role will report directly to the Sales Account Executive, so this individual must be self-motivated, highly polished, and eager to rapidly grow – and growth with – Touchstone IQ.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Sales Account Executive to develop a prospect outreach strategy and sales plan to meet assigned revenue targets
  • Leading prospecting via emails, cold calls, and LinkedIn to book meetings for the Sales Account Executive
  • Conduct discovery conversation with leads to align a demo presentation or appropriate follow-up
  • Conduct demo presentations to smaller building clients within the first 6 months
  • Maintain HubSpot CRM database with timely and well-organized account updates, and customer follow-up
  • Regularly review completed calls and other communications to find areas of improvement
  • Continuously grow your knowledge of products, the CRE industry, competition, and potential partners

Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of lead generation sales experience, ideally in SaaS and/or B2B
  • Strong preference towards candidates with experience in the commercial real estate or energy and sustainability sectors
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and activity goals
  • Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience writing content for sales enablement also a plus.
  • Digital-minded and tech-savvy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, often-changing start-up environment
  • Demonstrable success in building relationships with partners and/or customers from entry- to executive-level
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce, preferably)
  • Prior experience in the energy & sustainability field is not required. However, you must have the ability – and desire – to learn quickly in order to articulate complex regulatory requirements and energy management opportunities, often to a non-technical audience.
  • To be successful in this role, you will need to successfully leverage resources and take proactive initiative towards building the Touchstone IQ business
  • Bachelor or University degree, and looking forward to pursuing a career with a software start-up in the energy & sustainability field

Compensation

Base salary of $55,000 based on experience. Lead gen and sales-based commission is competitive for this role and in the tech sales field. Details discussed with potential employees during interview process.

Additional benefits include healthcare insurance, Denver RTD EcoPass, a dog-friendly office, a hybrid work schedule, generous vacation days as well as a matching 401k package. Must be willing to work 3 days in-office (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday).
